1. 02/08/2019: DUJES Index is now available for viewing/download. Please follow the link(s) for the same.

2. 20/06/2019: The UGC Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics (CARE) and its website (https://ugccare.unipune.ac.in/site/website/index.aspx) has been launched under the auspices of the UGC Cell for Journal Analysis, Centre for Publication Ethics (CPE), Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. CARE has been constituted with the express and noble aims to "promote quality research, academic integrity and publication ethics" while striving to "create and maintain 'UGC-CARE Reference List of Quality Journals' for academic purposes". DUJES may be referenced in the aforementioned CARE List in Group D category, i.e., "Journals from all disciplines and languages submitted by CARE Universities, which are qualified as per the analysis protocols".

3. 01/06/2019: The CFP for Volume 28, Issue 2019-20 has been announced. Kindly follow this link for more details.

4. 01/06/2019: DUJES Volume 27 (2018-19 Issue) is now online. The DOI Process is to follow once the hardcopy sets are printed. A further three months is expected for the same.

5. 01/04/2019: DUJES, the online version, (www.dujes.co.in) now has an Online ISSN. Contributors are requested to note that this is different from the Print version of the journal (Online ISSN 2581-7833).

6. 01/11/2018: DUJES has begun the process of blind peer-review for the articles/papers submitted for Volume 27 of the journal.

7. 01/10/2018: The Department of English, Dibrugarh University, is privileged to announce Prof. Sukalpa Bhattacharjee, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and Prof. N. Rama Devi Murru, English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, as honoured members of the Advisory Board of the Dibrugarh University Journal of English Studies.

8. 01/06/2018: UPDATED... DUJES is seeking inclusion in the UGC-approved journal list through the relevant institutional mechanisms. Inclusion is incumbent on confirmation from the UGC, and updates regarding the proposed 'Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics' (CARE) are being followed closely; the website shall be updated accordingly. While inclusion in the UGC list remains a top priority for the members of the Editorial Board of the journal, contributors are also requested to bear in mind that timelines in this regard are indefinite as of now and may not be duly notified until specified.
